STAND for All, the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge’s publicly available STAND program, has been upgraded with new STAND content and a new delivery platform. The upgraded program combines STAND content previously offered through multiple STAND implementations and across multiple delivery platforms into a single consolidated public offering.
As part of the rollout, STAND at UCLA, a separate offering of STAND for UCLA students also known as STAR, has now been merged with STAND for All. (The STAND Wellness Resource, a 2024 DGC pilot, was similarly integrated with STAND for All in 2025.)
STAND for All users can explore self-guided lessons now tailored for wellness, depression, worry, trauma, sleep, panic, and social anxiety. The content is delivered through CareEvolution’s MyDataHelps platform, available via mobile app or web browser.
“Since STAND’s inception, we have juggled multiple versions of STAND, hosted in different platforms and available to different audiences,” said Michelle Popowitz, DGC Executive Director. “We were working to meet the needs of our STAND research programs while also seeking to ensure our resources could remain available more broadly.”
“Consolidating our public STAND offerings together in one system is a major milestone,” Popowitz said. “It makes these resources simpler to navigate, easier to access, and, of course, more streamlined operationally.
“We hope many will take advantage of these resources.”
About the STAND system of care
The STAND system of care was first conceptualized in 2017 by DGC Co-Director Michelle Craske. STAND is an all-in-one, end-to-end system of care which includes screening, triaging, delivery of services, ongoing monitoring of mood and symptoms and intervention recalibration. Since STAND’s inception, we have offered STAND components in different formats and for different use cases.
