First call for pilot project proposals for STAND for Community Colleges Innovation Center

The UCLA Depression Grand Challenge’s NIMH-funded STAND for Community Colleges Innovation Center announced its first call for pilot projects on Aug. 10, 2022. Proposals are due Sept. 19, 2022.

This funding will support 2-3 projects from UCLA-based junior investigators in conducting high-quality, innovative research focused on increasing engagement in UCLA’s STAND program services, addressing diverse populations (e.g., LGBTQ+ and Latinx students), increasing the update of digital therapy and other implementation science topics, such as improving clinician and coaching supervision and training models. Selected projects will be awarded up to $25,000.

More information can be found at the Call for Proposals.

The Center is one of 14 ALACRITY Research Centers funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and builds on UCLA’s commitment to improve treatments and make them more accessible. To learn more about the Center, please visit: stand.ucla.edu/alacrity.
