After two successful pilot phases, main phase of study conducted in collaboration with Apple begins

Announced on August 4, 2020, Apple and UCLA are collaborating to conduct an innovative mental health study to provide greater insights into how we diagnose and treat anxiety and depression. After successfully completing two pilot phases, today the final or main study phase of the Digital Mental Health Study launches, which involves more than 3,000 participants recruited from UCLA Health and the UCLA student body. Research participation involves completing daily tasks for approximately one year, including four assessment appointments with our research team over the course of their participation.
