UCLA Newsroom features DGC Co-Director Michelle Craske's accomplishments in first year as Kevin Love Fund Centennial Chair

Timed with the end of her first year in the role, the UCLA Newsroom reported on DGC Co-Director Michelle Craske’s activities as the inaugural Kevin Love Fund Centennial Chair. The NBA star and UCLA alumnus and “Badass Dr. Craske,” as Love affectionately refers to her, first met in summer 2019 when preparing for the UCLA event, “Raising the Curtain on Depression and Anxiety.” That meeting kicked off an ongoing collaboration between the two. Since then, Craske, UCLA distinguished professor of psychology and of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences, and Love have appeared together in a number of public engagements to break the stigma around mental health, which Love has made the focus of his philanthropic work. In 2020, the Kevin Love Foundation contributed funds to UCLA to establish the Kevin Love Fund Centennial Chair. Craske was officially named the chair in 2022.
