Michelle Craske joins NBA player Kevin Love on Today Show with Hoda Kotb to offer tips on managing COVID-19-related anxiety

Michelle Craske (psychology and psychiatry professor at UCLA and member of the Executive Committee of the Depression Grand Challenge) joined Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player and former UCLA standout Kevin Love on the Today Show with Hoda Kotb on March 18, 2020.

Having previously sat down with Michelle Craske at events hosted at UCLA and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to discuss his own mental health history, Kevin invited Michelle to join him on the Today Show to discuss anxiety and stress brought on or worsened by the COVID-19. Michelle shared the following tips for managing anxiety during the COVID-19 outbreak:

Michelle shared that it is normal for people to feel elevated levels of stress and anxiety during times of uncertainty, especially as people are worrying about things like their family’s health or their personal finances. She emphasized that the feelings of uncertainty and worry are part of our current shared experience and that we are all in this together.
