Chancellor Block and Jonathan Flint share Depression Grand Challenge news during travels to Europe, Asia for Centennial Celebration

The Depression Grand Challenge was a topic of discussion during the Centennial Celebration over the summer. Jonathan Flint, genetics expert and DGC Executive Committee member, traveled with UCLA Chancellor Gene Block to multiple places including London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Geneva, Singapore, Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul.

In their travels, they met with philanthropists, businesspeople, UCLA alumni, international organizations and government officials, updating stakeholders on the successes of the DGC to date.
